Nabanita Das joins Angana Roy and Rohaan Bhattacharjee in the TV show Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle

The popular TV star, who was last seen playing the lead role in Biyer Phool, has reportedly joined the cast of Star Jalsha's ongoing show Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle, starring Angana Roy and Rohaan Bhattacharjee as lead pair. It is also known that Nabanita Das has already joined Angana Roy and Rohaan Bhattacharjee and started shooting for the show Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle.

The TV show Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle, starring Angana Roy and Rohaan Bhattacharjee as the lead pair, will have some new twists and turns with the entry of Nabanita Das in a key role opposite the lead pair. According to the plot of the show, protagonist Dev (played by Rohaan Bhattacharjee) married a of Paro's doppelgänger Parvati (played by Angana Roy). And now the makers of Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle are about to add some new twist to the show where Nabanita Das will be seen in the role of Paro. Yes, you read that right. As per the recent script, Paro is not dead after all. After the accident, Paro's face changed due to plastic surgery. Now Nabanita Das will play the new Paro, while Angana will play Parvati as before.

Talking about her entry in the ongoing show Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle, Nabanita told Hindustan Times Bangla, ''I started shooting Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle two days back. I shot for just one day. The work will start again after Holi.''

Well, when Nabanita was asked why she agreed to play this role? She said, ''Paro is a fascinating character. There were some supernatural shades in the beginning. The relationship between Dev and Paro is a bit unconventional. The boy suffers from emotional conflicts. I had never worked in a love triangle story before. Here, the hero marries another girl after his childhood friend goes away. How will the two girls move the story forward? How will Dev handle this? These attracted me. If the audience already saw Paro, then how can I justify the character? I have to be focused and work hard for the character, but I am ready''.

Nabanita Das was last seen playing the female lead in Sun Bangla's show 'Biyer Phool', co-starred Raja Goswami, Ekta Ganguly, and Souvik Banerjee. Nabanita Das made her mark in the industry and became one of the popular faces among the audience by playing Ishwari in Ardhangini. Apart from Ardhangini, Nabanita Das acted in two popular shows like Deep Jwele Jaai and Mahapeeth Tarapeeth.
