Here is the official post:

For the unawares, it was 2016, when the Bengali theatre group Natadha staged its Othello adaptation Athoi. Directed by Arna Mukhopadhyay, the play featured Anirban Bhattacharya, Turna Das, and Arna Mukhopadhyay in the lead. Athoi is even considered one of the most successful dramas of Bengal in recent times. In that play, Arno played Athoi, aka Othello, and Anirban as Anogro and Iago while Turna played Diamona, aka Desdemona. However, Turna Das was later replaced by Sohini Sarkar.

Speaking about Othello, it's a tragedy story written by William Shakespeare, around 1603. The story revolves around two characters, Othello and Iago. Taking about its story, it is set in motion when Othello, a heroic black general in the service of Venice, appoints Cassio and not Iago as his chief lieutenant. Jealous of Othello's success and envious of Cassio, Iago plots Othello's downfall by falsely implicating Othello's wife, Desdemona, and Cassio in a love affair. (Source Wikipedia)
