Bou Kotha Kao fame Riju Biswas bags a pivotal role in the new show Bhaktir Sagar

TV actor Riju Biswas, who rose to fame playing the lead role in Star Jalsha's show Bou Kotha Kao, has bagged a new role. The actor was last seen in Godhuli Aalap playing the role of Aditya "Adi" Roy. And now he will be seen in a key role in the new show Bhaktir Sagar on the same channel.

It is already known that Sabyasachi Chowdhury-starrer show Ramprasad is going off air soon. The final episode of 'Ramprasad' will air on Monday (April 22) and the new show, Bhaktir Sagar will take its slot on 23rd April. It is known that the show is ending in a year due to an insufficient number of TRP ratings. And the channel will now fill the slot with new mythological show Bhaktir Sagar, starring Riju Biswas in the lead role.

The channel has already released a promo of the new show Bhaktir Sagar on their social media handles. The story of Bhaktir Sagar will depict the life of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa which will begin by showing Ramakrishna's childhood days. Riju Biswas will play the role of Ramakrishna's father Khudiram Chattopadhyay.

Riju Biswas became popular for playing the male lead Nikhil in the show Bou Kotha Kao where Manali Dey played the female lead Mouri. Apart from all these shows, Riju has also been a part of several TV serials and web series like Tomay Amay Mile, Checkmate, and Size Matters.
