Filmmaker Pavel, who has directed movies like Rosogolla, Babar Naam Gandhiji, Asur, and Kolkata Chalantika, is rumored to be doing a new film with Tollywood actor-producer Jeet. Several reports have been doing the rounds on social media for the past few days claiming that filmmaker Pavel and Jeet have joined hands for a new movie.

As per the latest reports, Filmmaker Pavel has approached Jeet for his upcoming film which will have a grand theatrical release. Although there is no official update about this movie, director Pavel has revealed in several interviews that he is planning to make a big-budget film with Jeet. Now it's time to wait to see when the makers make the official announcement.

Earlier, Pavel directed Jeet in his romantic action thriller film Asur which was released on 3rd January 2020. Apart from Jeet, the film featured Abir Chatterjee and Nusrat Jahan in lead roles. Apart from being a success at the box office, the film was also critically acclaimed.

Pavel's last big-screen release Kolkata Chalantika hit the cinema halls on 25th August 2022. Based on the 2016 Kolkata flyover collapse, the film starred Saurav Das, Ishaa Saha, Aparajita Auddy, Satabdi Chakraborty, Ditipriya Roy, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Anirban Chakrabarti including the director himself.

Meanwhile, Jeet is busy these days with his upcoming big-screen release Boomerang. The Sci-fi comedy-drama stars Rukmini Maitra as the female lead opposite Jeet. Directed by Sauvik Kundu, the film is scheduled to hit the cinema halls on 7th June, summer 2024.
