Actress Mohana Maiti, who was seen playing the female lead in Zee Bangla's show Gouri Elo will soon be seen on the TV screen through a new show. The Gouri Elo actress Mohana Maiti, has reportedly got a new show which will be aired on a leading general entertainment channel.

According to recent reports, Mohana Maiti has bagged the lead role in a new TV serial, produced by Bangla Talkies. Starring Mohana Maiti in the lead role, the upcoming serial is likely to be aired on Zee Bangla. However, it is yet to be confirmed which actor will be seen playing the male lead opposite Mohana Maiti.

Well, there are several rumors doing the rounds on the internet claiming that popular TV actor Honey Bafna will be seen as the male lead opposite Mohana Maiti in the upcoming TV serial on Zee Bangla. However, there is no official statement from the makers of the actor yet.

Mohana Maiti rose to fame for being a contestant in the dance reality show called Dance Bangla Dance on the same channel. Later, Mohana made her acting debut with the show  Gouri Elo on Zee Bangla which became an instant hit on television and Mohana became a star among serial lovers.  Not just the show, but the onscreen chemistry between Mohana Maiti and her co-star Biswarup Bandyopadhyay also took a special place in the hearts of the audience. And now Mohana Maiti is rumored to be seen in another drama serial on Zee Bangla.

Honey Bafna was last seen in Sun Bangla's show Shyama wherein he played the male lead opposite Tumpa Ghosh. The show concluded its journey on TV in December 2023. 

Well, if everything goes according to recent reports, audiences will get to see a fresh pairing of Mohana Maiti and Honey Bafna on their TV screens with a new television drama.
