One of the much-loved on-screen Jodi, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Rituparna Sengupta are all set to dazzle the silver screen once again with their captivating chemistry as their upcoming movie Ajogya has got its release date. Directed by Kaushik Ganguly, Prosenjit and Rituparna's 50th film Ajogya is set to hit the cinema halls on 7th June, summer 2024. The news has been confirmed by the makers.
On the celebratory occasion of Poila Boishakh (Bengali New Year), the makers have officially revealed the release date for Ajogya, starring Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta in lead roles. Apart from Prosenjit and Rituparna, the film also stars Lily Chakravarty and Ambarish Bhattacharya in pivotal roles.

Although the director did not say a word about Ajogya's story. When lead actress Rituparna was asked the same question, she replied, ''I can't say anything about the story of the film. All I can say is that the pairing of Prosenjit-Rituparna brings a mystery yet again.''
Meanwhile, Jeet and Rukmini Maitra's sci-fi comedy-drama Boomerang is also set to release on 7th June in theaters. Directed by Sauvik Kundu, the film also stars Saurav Das, Rajatava Dutta, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Ambarish Bhattacharya in lead roles along side Jeet and Rukmini.
So, it will be a direct box office clash between Prosenjit Chatterjee-Rituparna Sengupta's Ajogya, and Jeet-Rukmini Maitra's Boomerang. It's time to see which movie entertains the audience more and makes an impression at the box office.
