Actress Rupsa Chatterjee, who was last seen playing Soumili in Tunte, will now be seen playing an important role in the popular show Jagaddhatri, starring Ankita Mallick and Soumyadeep Mukherjee as lead pair. Rupsa Chatterjee has reportedly joined the cast of Jagaddhatri and started shooting for the upcoming episodes of the show.
Zee Bangla's popular show Jagaddhatri, starring Ankita Mallick and Soumyadeep Mukherjee is now set to welcome actress Rupsa Chatterjee in a new role as the makers are planning to add some new twists and turns to the story. In the show, Jagaddhatri, Rupsa Chatterjee will be seen playing the role of Banolata Chakraborty, a negative role and new antagonist.
Recently, the channel has released a new promo for the show Jagaddhatri, featuring Rupsa Chatterjee in a new avatar. The promo shows Rupsa's character putting vermilion on her head. Later, she pulls out a gun and points it at Jess aka Jagaddhatri (played by Ankita Mallick). But Garima comes in front of Jagaddhatri to save her and that bullet hits Garima's shoulder. When Jagaddhatri went to chase Banolata (Rupsa) Jagaddhatri fell down and fainted. Now the question is whether Jagaddhatri is sick or is she pregnant. The questions will be answered throughout the upcoming episodes of Jagaddhatri.
