Shiboprosad Mukherjee resumes shooting for Abir and Ritabhari-Starrer film movie Bohurupi

In the first week of April 2024, it was reported that actor-director Shiboprosad Mukherjee was injured on the sets of Bohurupi while shooting an action sequence with his co-actor Abir Chatterjee. It was known that Mukherjee sustained a back injury while shooting an action scene for the film Bohurupi in Barrackpore. The director-wife said that Shiboprosad suffered a spinal cord injury. 

It was learned that Shiboprosad was shooting an action scene with co-star Abir Chatterjee when the incident took place. Mukherjee was injured after falling from a height while performing a jumping scene.

However, Shiboprosad Mukherjee is reportedly fine now as he has joined his co-director Nandita Roy on the sets of Bohurupi to complete the rest of the film's shoot. Windows Production has also shared the news of Shiboprosad Mukherjee's arrival on the sets of Bohurupi on their official social media handles. Sharing a photo of the directors' duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Windows Production captioned it ''Shooting of Bohurupi has resumed today. We seek your blessings. #Bohurupi''.

About the film, Bohurupi

Directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, the action drama film stars Ritabhari Chakraborty and Abir Chatterjee in lead roles. Apart from this 'Fatafati Jodi', the film also stars Koushani Mukherjee in an important role alongside Shiboprosad Mukherjee.

Talking about the film, Shiboprosad Mukherjee said that the film is based on one of the most historical crimes in the country. This will be the highest-budget film in their production so far.

The film is scheduled to release on the occasion of Durga Puja 2024.
