Bengali Television is all set to welcome another new show with a fresh pair on the TV screen. Another leading general entertainment channel, Star Jalsha is all set to launch a brand new drama series Roshnai, starring Sean Banerjee and Anushka Goswami in lead roles.

It was rumored for the past few days that Bengali television star Sean Banerjee will soon be seen in a new TV serial, where the Gaatchora actress Anushka Goswami will play the female lead. And now Star Jalsa has announced their new show Roshnai, turning the rumors into reality. Besides releasing its first promo on social media, the channel has also revealed the telecast timings for the Sean Banerjee and Anushka Goswami-starrer show Roshnai. Yes, you read that right.

The new TV show Roshnai, starring Sean Banerjee and Anushka Goswami in lead roles, starts from 25th April and will be telecast at 8:30 pm on the screen of Star Jalsha. The channel has officially announced the telecast time for the show by releasing a very short promo featuring only the lead pair Sean Banerjee and Anushka Goswami.

As soon as the promo was released on social media, fans got excited about the show. What has made fans more excited is its star cast which includes Sean Banerjee and Anushka Goswami as the lead pair. One of the fans wrote ''Sudhu matro ei juti tar jonno excited...Best wishes to @seanbanerjee.sb @anushkagoswami01'' with two love emojis.

Although the first promo of Roshnai did not reveal the rest of the cast of the show apart from the lead pair,  the sources suggest that Sreemoyee fame Usashi Chakraborty and Sudip Mukherjee will be seen in pivotal roles in the show. There are rumors in the industry that the show will feature Sudip Mukherjee and Usashi Chakraborty as husband-wife alongside Sean Banerjee and Anushka Goswami.
