Tulika Basu replaces Mithu Chakrabarty in the show Horogouri Pice Hotel

Renowned actress Tulika Basu, who has been a part of several Bengali films and television dramas, has bagged an important role in the ongoing show Horogouri Pice Hotel, starring Suvosmita Mukherjee and Rahul Mazumdar as lead pair. The veteran actress has already done a few shots for the upcoming episodes of Horogouri Pice Hotel.

Tulika Basu replaces Mithu Chakrabarty in the show Horogouri Pice Hotel

Tulika Basu has been roped in by the makers of Horogouri Pice Hotel to play the role of Maheshwari Ghosh in the show. Yes, you read that right. In the show, Tulika Basu will be seen in the role of protagonist Shankar's mother instead of Mithu Chakrabarty.

However, no official statement has been made by the makers of Horogouri Pice Hotel or by Mithu Chakraborty as to why the actress left the show. However, a few days ago, it was reported that senior actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Mithu Chakraborty's husband had to be hospitalized and underwent surgery. Though Sabyasachi Chakraborty is now at home, it is speculated that the actress has decided to quit the show to take care of her husband and family.

Now it's time to see if the audience accepts Tulika Basu as Shankar's mother or not, even though Tulika Basu has won the hearts of the audience multiple times through her previous shows.
