Bengali actress Puja Banerjee, who has been a part of several Hindi TV shows and Bengali movies, has been hospitalized due to health complications. According to reports, the Challenge 2 actress was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital after experiencing several health issues.
In a brief conversation with Times Now, Pooja Banerjee said that she had been suffering from illness for the past few days. Banerjee has been suffering from viral fever for a week. Pooja says ''I thought it was just fatigue, but I started feeling bad. I had a high fever and extreme weakness after which I was admitted to the hospital. They put me on drips. Even now I feel very weak. I have a high temperature, a throat infection, and am unable to consume liquids or solids.''
When Puja was asked about who is taking care of her during this difficult time, she said, ''My husband is here but I have no one else to take care of me. It will take me some time to fully recover.''
Although Puja Banerjee rose to fame for her Hindi show, she has been a part of several Bengali movies and series. Apart from her Hindi shows like Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna and Qubool Hai, Puja acted in many Bengali movies like Challange 2, Loveria, Hoichoi Unlimited, Proloy, etc.
Puja was last seen playing the female lead, Elina in the show Cabaret which is now streaming on Addatimes. A few days ago, she wrapped up the shoot for Raja Chanda's upcoming film that also stars Prosenjit Chatterjee in the lead role.
