Star Jalsha show Cheeni, starring Bijaylakshmi Chatterjee and Somraj Maity in lead roles, is all set to introduce Ahona Dutta to the show. The popular actress known as Mishka will be seen playing a pivotal role opposite Bijaylakshmi Chatterjee and Somraj Maity in the show. The channel has released a new promo for the show, Cheeni featuring Ahona Dutta in a new avatar.
Mishka aka Ahona Dutta has already joined the show, Cheeni, starring Bijaylakshmi Chatterjee and Somraj Maity as the lead pair. While Bijaylakshmi plays the titular role, Ahona Dutta will be seen in her ''Anurager Chhowa'' character Mishka. Yes, you guessed right. Ahona Dutta will be seen playing a cameo role in a few episodes of the show, Cheeni.
The channel has recently revealed a new promo for the show, Cheeni featuring Ahona Dutta as Mishka. In the promo, Apala (played by Madhurima Basak) says in a phone call that she can't handle Cheeni (played by Bijaylakshmi Chatterjee) anymore. Then she invites Mishka (played by Ahona Dutta) to come and join her so that they can hatch a mischievous plot and fight against protagonist Cheeni.
But the surprise does not end here. Apart from Ahona Dutta, the show also welcomes actress Megha Daw, who plays a negative role, Mandavi aka Mandy in Susmita Dey and Saheb Bhattacharya starrer show, Katha. While Ahona Dutta will be seen in her ''Anurager Chhowa'' character Mishka, Megha Daw will be seen as Mandavi aka Mandy in the show. Both Ahona Dutta and Megha Daw will be seen in cameo roles in the show. Neither Ahona Dutta nor Megha Daw replaced Madhurima Basak in the show.
