Rooqma Ray, who was last seen in the show Roopsagore Moner Manush, has bagged a new role in a new web series, co-starring Sandipta Sen in the lead role. It is known that Rooqma has been roped in to play a key role in Noshtoneer 2 which stars Sandipta Sen in the lead role.

Hoichoi, the leading OTT platform in the Bengali belt, has announced 14 new original web series for subscribers. And Nostoneer 2 is one of them.

After the phenomenal success of its first season, the makers are all set to deliver the second installment of Nostoneer. Directed by Aditi Roy, the social drama stars Sandipta Sen in the lead role and Rooqma Ray will be seen playing a pivotal role. The makers have already started shooting for the series. However, the release date of the series has not been announced yet.

The blissful life of Aparna  (played by Sandipta Sen) comes crashing down after her husband's heinous act comes to light. Now she's standing on the edge of uncertainty. How she restores stability in her life despite the societal interdiction is the crux of the story of Nostoneer Season 2.

Rooqma Ray was last seen playing the female lead, Parna in Sun Bangla's show Roopsagore Moner Manush. And now she will be seen sharing the screen with Sandipta Sen in Noshtoneer Season 2 which will be streaming on Hoichoi OTT platform. Before this, Rooqma was a part of several web series such as Rahasya Romancha Season 3, Byomkesh Season 6, Roktokorobi, Red Canvas, etc.
