One of the leading production houses, SVF is coming up with a brand-new show featuring a new pair of Shreema Bhattacherjee and Saurojit Banerjee. Actor Saurojit Banerjee, who became a household name for playing Akashneel in Sandhya Tara serial, returns on TV with a new show titled Basu Paribaar, co-starring Shreema Bhattacherjee.
The new TV serial, Basu Paribaar stars Shreema Bhattacherjee and Saurojit Banerjee in lead roles. Saurojit will be seen as Diptesh and Shreema as Neela in the show which will be aired on Sun Bangla.
In Saurojit's words, ''I'm playing Deepu's character in the show. Everyone in the family is established. But he does not have a degree as he was not good at studies. As a result, he does not get a good job. However, he tries his best. He is good at handicrafts and cricket. His parents are everything to him.''

On the other hand, Shreema Bhattacherjee said, ''Neela's character is quite funny. She is very lively, and honest. She is not afraid to fight for the truth. But there are many adversities in her life. But Neela is someone who knows how to keep everyone happy. I am very excited about this project.''

According to the makers, ''Basu Paribaar'' is a family drama. But it's not a woman-centric story like other serials. Apart from Shreema Bhattacherjee and Saurojit Banerjee, the serial also stars Arindam Ganguly, Kaushiki Guha, Animesh Badhuri, Sayantani Mullick, Kaushik Das, Sreetama Roy Chowdhury, and Deepsheta Mitra in pivotal roles.
