Soumitrisha Kundu and Saurav Das pairing up in Rupak Chakraborty's film

Here is a piece of good news for all the fans of Soumitrisha Kundu and those who are waiting to see her back on screen. The ''Pradhan'' actress has got a new movie where she will share the screen with Saurav Das. Saurav Das and Soumitrisha Kundu have teamed up for Rupak Chakraborty's film upcoming movie ''10th June''. The actress shared this news on her social media handles.

Rupak Chakraborty's film upcoming movie ''10th June '' stars Saurav Das and Soumitrisha Kundu as the lead pair. In the film, Soumitrisha will be seen playing Mitali and Saurav will be seen in the role of a fugitive killer opposite her. 

Apart from Saurav Das and Soumitrisha Kundu, the film also stars Kaushik Sen, Rishav Chakraborty, and Mousumi Das in pivotal roles.

Talking about the film, Soumitrisha Kundu said, ''The story of the film is very interesting, I said yes to this film because of its script which made me excited for the film. But I can't reveal why it's titled ''10th June''.  All I can say is that the character I am playing in this movie is very impressive''.

Both Soumitrisha Kundu and Saurav Das are popular among Bengali audiences. While Soumitrisha became household for playing the lead role in the Mithai serial, Saurav Das made his mark in the industry with his amazing screen presence in several movies and web series. In 2023, Soumitrisha Kundu made her debut on the big screen with Tollywood superstar Dev in Avijit Sen's film Pradhan wherein she played Dev's love interest.

It is also known that this actress is more interested in proving herself in the world of cinema even though she has several offers to act in TV serials.

According to various media reports, director Rupak Chakraborty will start shooting for the film from May 6 with lead stars Soumitrisha and Saurav.
