Actress Sharly Modak, who is currently playing the role of Shalini Mitra in the show Phulki, has bagged a new role in a crime drama series that will be streaming on Hoichoi. The popular TV star has been roped in by the makers to play a key role in the upcoming crime drama series Nikhoj 2, starring Swastika Mukherjee and Tota Roy Chowdhury in lead roles.
After the phenomenal success of its first season, Hoichoi is coming up with the second season of Nikhoj which stars Swastika Mukherjee and Tota Roy Chowdhury in lead roles. While Swastika Mukherjee plays the role of Brinda Basu, a fearless and bold cop, Tota Roy Chowdhury plays the role of a renowned journalist opposite her. And Sharly Modak seems to play the role of an advocate in the series.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Sharly Modak shared the news about her new venture, revealing her new look for the series, Nikhoj 2. However, the release date of the series has not been announced yet.

Presently, Sharly Modak playing the negative role of Shalini Mitra in the popular drama series Phulki, starring Divyani Mondal and Abhishek Bose in lead roles. Modak became a household name for portraying Bhagyasree Sarkar aka Bhagya opposite Rahul Mazumdar in Star Jalsha's show Bhaggolokkhi. After Bhaggolokkhi, Sharly played a lead role opposite Souvik Banerjee in the show Lokkhi Kakima Superstar which starred Aparajita Auddy in the titular role opposite Debshankar Halder.
