Mimi Chakraborty will be seen in Mainak Bhaumik's next film 'Mini'. Mainak Bhaumik, who is currently busy with his upcoming film 'Ekannoborti', is going to work with Mimi Chakraborty for the first time. Earlier, Mimi Chakraborty interacted with Mainak Bhaumik during the film 'Crisscross' as he wrote the script of the film.

Speaking about the film 'Mini', It's a women-centric film which has lots of shades of emotions and relationships. The story of the film revolves around Mini who is an independent girl but her family and relationship play a big role in her life.

I am excited to work with Mainak. It should be fun as I have heard he is a very coolest person. I love the character of this film where I can experiment on myself with my acting skills. Women-oriented films are rare in our industry, said, Mimi Chakraborty.

One more interesting thing about this film is actress Sampurna Lahiri will produce the film with Small Taalk Ideas banner. Rahul Bhanja who has been a part of the production team of several films like Byomkesh Gyotro, Asche Abar Shabor, Shantilal O Projapoti Rahasya, will produce the film in associate with Sampurna Lahiri. 'This is our first venture and we have planned for several projects in the future' said, Sampurna Lahiri. 

Rahul Bhanja said 'we have planned for six films this year. Telling about 'Mini' Mainak Bhaumik will choose the suitable time for the shooting according to the epidemic situation. This film is scheduled to shoot next year. Mimi Chakraborty has signed for Arindam Sil's film 'Khela Jokhon' which will start shooting in August. After shooting that film, we will start shooting for 'Mini'.
