Actress Sampurna Lahiri to comeback on TV screen

Bengali actress Sampurna Lahiri who has been a part of several TV series and movies will soon be seen on TV screens. There is strong buzz in the industry that Sampurna Lahiri has bagged a new television project. She was last seen in Najor where she played the role of Maya Singha Roy alongside the lead pair Diya Mukherjee and John Bhattacharya. 

As per the recent buzz, Sampurna Lahiri will be seen in a new television drama that also features Neel Bhattacharya and Tiyasha Lepcha as the lead pair. In the upcoming series, Sampurna Lahiri will be seen as Neel Bhattacharya's elder sister. The shooting of the new series will start soon.

Sampurna Lahiri made her television debut with Tare Ami Chokhe Dekhini, aired on Star Jalsha. She was a part of a number of TV shows like Bigg Boss Bangla, Byomkesh, Robi Thakurer Golpo, etc. 

Sampurna Lahiri made her big screen debut with Aniket Chattopadhyay's film Goray Gandogol. Later she was seen in many Bengali films like Accident, Paanch Adhyay, Durga Sohay, Shankar Mudi, etc. Apart from all these, Sampurna has also produced a film titled Mini, starring Mimi Chakraborty and directed by Mainak Bhoumik.
