Parambrata Chatterjee will be seen as Gourango in Srijit Mukherjee's Next

Actor Parambrata Chatterjee will play the titular role of Gouranga in Srijit Mukherjee's next film 'Lawho Gouranger Naam Re'. Actress Priyanka Sarkar will play the role of Lakshmipriya opposite Parambrata Chatterjee.

It had been heard that Jissu Sengupta will play the titular character in the film as he has played the character on television before. But now it has been confirmed that Parambrata Chatterjee will play the role of Gouranga.

'Srijit Da and I talked about the character two years ago. Srijit Da told me about the role when no one finalized in the film. I started researching for the role from then on. I will try to portray the character as much as I can' said, Parambrata Chatterjee.

According to the character of Gourango, Parambrata might be seen with a bald head. However, it has not yet been finalized whether the bald head look will be real or artificial.

So a new pair of Parambrata and Priyanka will be seen on screen. After the success of that mythological tv series, It will be seen on the silver screen.

The shooting of the film will start next year. I am leaving for Mumbai for the preproduction and shooting of 'Sabaash Mithu'. Then I plan to shoot with Pankaj Tripathi for 'Sherdil'. So I think I can work on LGNR from December-January said Srijit Mukherjee.
