The shooting of Dev-Rukmini starrer film Kishmish has started. The film has already created a buzz to the fans since its announcement. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the Dev-Rukmini duo on screen. But due to the pandemic, it was not possible to start shooting for 'Kishmish'. Actor-producer Dev had announced that 'Kishmish' would be released during Durga Puja this year, but it was not possible due to the deteriorating situation in Covid. Last Tuesday, Actor-producer Dev informed through his social media handle that the movie releasing this winter and the shooting of 'Kishmish' has started under the direction of Rahul Mukherjee. The first look poster of the film has also been released this morning (August 11).

Apart from Dev and Rukmini Maitra, Kishmish film also featuring Kharaj Mukherjee, Kamaleswar Mukherjee, and Anjana Basu in pivotal roles. Kishmish is a romantic comedy genre film. For the first time, Dev will be seen in triple role which is one of the interesting parts of this film. The film also features 2D animation. Even, The first promo of the film was an animated promo which was released in 2020. The film has three different timelines. One of them belongs to a political angel. The timeline shows three different looks of Dev, The first one is the current time, the second one shows the atmosphere of 2000' and the third one will show the culture of 1980'. For the first time, this kind of concept will be seen in the Bengali film industry. If everything goes well, the audience will be able to see Dev and Rukmini's Kishmish in theatres this winter.
