Solanki Roy and Soham Majumder pairing up for a web series 'Saarey Shaitirish’

Actress Solanki Roy, who is currently playing Khori in 'Gaatchora' and paired with Jisshu Sengupta in 'Baba Baby O', is all set to play a new character in Sourav Chakraborty directed web series 'Saarey Shaitirish’ or 37½. The series has a strong cast including Kinjal Nanda, Shataf Figar, Sohini Sengupta, Chitrangada Chakraborty, Ekavali Khanna, Silajit Majumder, Shovan Chakraborty and, Kaushik Kar in key roles.

Actor Soham Majumder who shared the screen with Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh, played the role of Kabir's best friend, will be seen in Sourav Chakraborty's web series 'Saarey Shaitirish’ or 37½. He will be seen opposite Solanki Roy in the series.

Speaking about the web series, director Sourav Chakraborty said in an interview with 'Times Of India', 'Saarey Shaitirish or 37½ refers to the year 2037 – a time yet to come but one that we are all hopeful about. Ironically, we find that things have turned out not quite the way we have dreamt of. As for the story of the series, it is a social satire that seeks to show how the structure of a society often harms people of a particular race or class or gender or sexuality.

Besides directing, the series is also being produced by Sourav Chakraborty. He has made successful web series like Shobdo Jobdo, Japani Toy, Cartoon, etc.
