Popular TV series 'Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni' will end soon

One of the most popular and loved tv series Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni will be off-air soon. A few days ago, it just crossed the milestone of 1500 episodes. The series was premiered on 24th July 2017. After four years, the makers have decided to close the show. 7th February is the last day of the shooting for the series and the last episode will be aired on 13th February 2022.

The show welcomed a number of talented artists and made them a star among the Bengali audience. The series stars Ditipriya Roy, Sourav Saha, Gourab Chatterjee, Sampurna Mondal in the lead roles. Actor Sourav Saha has taken a special place in the hearts of the Bengali audience by playing the role of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Actress Ditipriya Roy made her mark on Bengali television and become one of the most popular Bengali actresses by portraying the character of  Rani Rashmoni.

According to the story, Ditipriya Roy had to leave the show after Ranima's death as she was portraying the character. Then the series stars a new chapter named Rani Rashmoni Uttar Parbo that revolves around the life of Ramkrishna Paramhansa Dev and Sarada Devi and the backdrop of the Dakshineswar Temple and the 'Marh' family of Janbazar after Rani Rashmoni aka Ranima's death where actress Sandipta Sen playing the character of Sarada Devi. Several popular faces like Gourab Chatterjee, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Anindita Raychaudhury, Mimi Dutta have been seen in the series.

But now the makers of the series and the channel authorities have decided to close the show. The news could be sad for the fans of Rani Rashmoni and the series. But the good news is that the channel is coming up with a brand new show titled 'Lokkhi Kakima Superstar' where Aparajita Auddy will play the titular role.
