Promita Chakraborty and Rudrajit Mukherjee pairing up again on screen

Actress Promita Chakraborty bags to play a new character in Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Megha Daw starrer serial Pilu. She will play the role of Sinjini in the serial. Promita will be seen opposite Rudrajit Mukherjee who is her real-life hubby and currently playing Rangan's character in 'Pilu'. For the first time, Rudrajit and Promita's chemistry was seen on screen in Saat Bhai Champa serial where they played Roosha and Raghav's characters. Once again the Jodi of Rudrajit Mukherjee and Promita Chakraborty will be seen on screen with Pilu serial.

Pilu serial also stars Kaushik Chakraborty, Anjana Basu, Mayna Banerjee, Idhika Paul and, Biswanath Basu in pivotal roles. The story revolves around Pilu, a village girl who loves to sing folk songs. And the other hand Ahir loves and practices classical music in  "Suramandal" a music institute owned by Aditya Narayan Mukhopadhyay (Kaushik Chakraborty). Ahir's guru Aditya appoints him as Pilu's music teacher and from here the story takes a new turn.

Promita Chakraborty was last seen on screen in the mythological show Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni where she played Annada's character. She become a household by playing Roosha/Parul in Saat Bhai Champa where actor Rudrajit Mukherjee played Raghav/Maharaj Chandraditya opposite her. This time the off-screen Jodi will be seen on screen in the Pilu serial.
