The news on Wednesday morning shocked everyone. The news was about singer-composer Bappi Lahiri. It is learned that he breathed his last. Singer Sandhya Mukherjee just died yesterday and it hasn’t been long since Lata Mangeshkar had breathed her last, the Industry and the fans are just returning to old terms and the shocking news has arrived. The Disco Dancer king Bappi Lahiri passes away at Mumbai's CritiCare Hospital. He was 69 years old.

Bappi Lahiri was hospitalized for a month and was also discharged on Monday. But on Tuesday his physical condition deteriorated. His family called a doctor at home but he had to be hospitalized again as he was suffering from multiple health issues. He died due to OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) shortly before midnight. Dr. Deepak Namjoshi who is also the director of the hospital told PTI.

Bappi Lahiri was born as Alokesh Lahiri on 27 November 1952. He was the rocking star of Bollywood at a time. From the 1970s to 90s he has done many super hit songs like Chalte Chalte, Disco Dancer, etc. Apart from Bengali and Hindi, he had also done Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Gujarati songs. His last song 'Bhankash' was for Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer film Baaghi 3.
