Actress Trina Saha who playing Gungun in Khorkuto, has expressed her grief on Abhishek Chatterjee's death. Abhishek Chattejree was working with Trina Saha in the same drama series. He was playing the role of Trina aka Gungun's father. In addition to acting in films, he gained popularity by acting on television.

Actress Trina Saha is deeply saddened by the death of her reel father. Trina said with tears, I have been playing the role of his daughter on screen for the last two years and he also became like my dad behind the camera, even I used to call him Dad off-screen too. But I lost him forever. I used to scold him a lot for not taking care of himself. On Tuesday, he fell ill on the set. He was also suffering from liver problems. Despite health problems, he did take a break from work.

On Tuesday, he fell ill on the set. Dulal Da (Dulal Lahiri) went to call him and he vomited on Dulal Da. We called a doctor for the primary treatment and later he was taken home as he needed a rest. Yesterday, he came on the set again. I scolded him a lot but he didn't listen to me, Trina added.
