New Serial 'Amar Sona Chander Kona' Starring Jasmine Roy and Ravi Shaw

Actress Jasmine Roy is all set to play a new character in a new tv show. Recently a popular entertainment channel has announced a new drama show titled 'Amar Sona Chander Kona' where actress Jasmine Roy will play the female lead. Actor Ravi Shaw who is also a popular face among Bengali audience will play the male lead opposite Jasmine Roy. In the serial, Ravi Shaw and Jasmine Roy will be seen as a married couple where Ravi will play the role of Som and Jasmine will be seen as his better half.

Speaking about this new drama series, 'Amar Sona Chander Kona' is a brand new show that will be aired on 'Sun Bangla' soon. Recently, the channel has released a promo of the serial. The story of the serial follows Som, a family man who lives with his wife and a son. But a event from his past always makes him depressed. When Som was very young, he was separated from his mother for some reason. He tried hard to find his mother but he did not succeed. Som's wife decides to start searching for his Mom and will help Som to overcome his depression.

Actress Jasmine Roy has recently been seen in Bipul Patra starrer mythological show 'Jai Jagannath' where she played the role of Rani Kundichar. Jasmine has won the hearts of the viewers and has made her mark in the Bengali TV industry by playing different roles in several shows. She has acted in popular shows like Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay, Trinayani, Mayar Badhon etc.  She made a cameo in the detective TV series 'Pandob Goyenda'. She also appeared in the popular mythological show 'Mahapeeth Tarapeeth'. This time she will play the lead role in 'Sun Bangla' serial 'Amar Sona Chander Kona' where her co-star is Ravi Shaw.

Actor Ravi Shaw was last on tv screen in 'Beder Meye Jyotsna' serial where he played the role of Rajkumar Kanchan and his co-star was Sneha Das. He has also acted in popular tv series like Jibon Jyoti and Raadha. For the past few years he has been busy with his film projects. Now he bags to play a new role opposite Jasmine Roy.
