| Actress Swastika Dutta to star opposite Abir and Ritabhari in Aritra Mukherjee's film Fatafati |
Actress Swastika Dutta, who has won the audience's hearts with her performance on the small screen, will soon be seen on the silver screen with Abir Chatterjee and Ritabhari Chakraborty. Swastika has been cast in Abir and Ritabhari starrer film Fatafati which is produced by windows production.
On International Women's Day, windows production released a promo of their next film Fatafati where Ritabhari Chakraborty and Abir Chatterjee will be paired. 'Fatafati' - A story of a plus-size model that breaks all the stereotypes around how a woman's body should look. Abir and Ritabhari will be paired on screen for the first time through this film. Filmmaker Aritra Mukherjee who has directed windows production's previous films Baba Baby O and Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti will direct this film too.
Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay's Radhika aka Swastika Dutta will play another lead role and will be seen as a shiny model in the film. According to the script, director Aritra Mukherjee has placed Swastika in contrast to the heavy-looking model that will be portrayed by Ritatbhari Chakraborty. In an interaction with Anandabazar Patrika, Swastika said, 'I always dreamed about working with windows production. But nothing was happening. So I contacted the screenwriter Zinia directly and massaged her expressing my wish. Even, I went to meet them in their office. During the conversation, I was asked about my work. There is no work for any television project and interested to act on the big screen. As soon as they found out about my wish, they asked me to act in Fatafati'.
Swastika is now busy preparing herself for her new character. Even she maintains a new diet plan and gyming to look perfect on her character. Director Aritra Mukherjee will start the shoot for the film from 25th April, this year.
