| Bonny Sengupta to star opposite Priyanka Sarkar and Paayel Sarkar in Abhimanyu Mukherjee's film Ahalya |
Bonny Sengupta is on a roll these days as he has many interesting movies in his kitty. The young star is also producing a film with his girlfriend Koushani Mukherjee which will be directed by Haranath Chakraborty. Amid these, Bonny Sengupta announced his next film titled Ahalya where his co-stars are Priyanka Sarkar and Paayel Sarkar.
Bonny Sengupta has recently signed Abhimanyu Mukherjee's thriller film Ahalya where he will be seen opposite Priyanka Sarkar and Paayel Sarkar. ''It should not be called a commercial film. It will be a suspense thriller film with a slightly different story and Bonny Sengupta will be seen in such a role like never seen before'' said director Abhimanyu Mukherjee in an interview with Telegraph. Although the rest of the cast without these three has not yet been finalized. Director Abhimanyu Mukherjee plans to start shooting the film from September.
Meanwhile, Bonny Sengupta is waiting for the release of Prarjun Majumder's film Anjarjaal where he will be paired with Koushani Mukherjee. Recently a teaser of the film has been out. It's a women-centric film that revolves around Lahori and Apurba playing by Koushani Mukherjee and Bonny Sengupta. Apart from the lead pair, the film also stars Prantik Banerjee and Soumalya Dutta in key roles. 'Antarjaal' will hit the cinema hall on 29th July.
