Priyanka Mitra to play a key role in Ekka Dokka serial

Actress Priyanka Mitra who was playing a meaty role in Khorkuto, has bagged a new role for the newly launched drama series Ekka Dokka. In the serial, Priyanka Mitra will play a key role alongside the lead pair Saptarshi Maulik and Sonamoni Saha. Interestingly, Sonamoni Saha and Priyanka Mitra have shared the screen before. Prior to this, Priyanka and Sonamoni were seen in Mohor where Sonamoni played the female lead, and Priyanka was seen as the main antagonist. And once again these two will be seen on screen.

Priyanka Mitra recently joined the cast of Ekka Dokka and already started shooting for the upcoming episodes. In the serial, Priyanka will be seen as Saptarshi Maulik's reel sister. She will essay the role of Srija. According to the script of the show, it will be a negative character, which means once again Priyanka Mitra and Sonamoni Saha will be seen arguing on screen. The story of the series revolves around the conflict between two families. There is a cold war between the Sen family and the Majumder family which reaches their new generation Pokhraj (Saptarshi) and Radhika (Sonamoni).

The serial has a strong cast where we see Sudip Mukherjee, Anashua Majumdar, Aparajita Ghosh Das, and Chandan Sen among others.

Priyanka Mitra is one of the familiar faces among the Bengali audience. She became a household name by playing Chini aka Imon Chatterjee in Khorkuto where her co-stars are Trina Saha, Koushik Roy, Dulal Lahiri, and other well-known actors. She also acted in Chaddobeshi serial.
