Actress Susmita Dey, who was last seen in Bouma Ekghor bags a new show. Susmita Dey will soon be seen in a new television series that will air on Star Jalsha. Yes, you heard it right. Star Jalsha's new drama series will feature Susmita Dey in the lead role. 

Susmita Dey's last show ended its journey much sooner than expected. The bubbly actress was a little upset as her show ended in just three months. Her fans are also waiting to see her on screen again. And finally, the wait is about to end. If sources are to be believed, Susmita Dey will be the leading lady in Sahana Dutta's upcoming television drama. There is also a buzz in the industry that actor Rajdeep Gupta, who played the lead role in 'Ogo Bodhu Sundori' will be seen playing the male lead opposite Susmita Dey in the show.

Initially, actress Nabanita Das was supposed to play the lead role in this serial. Later, the makers made some changes to the storyline and chose Susmita Dey as the female lead in the show. The makers will start shooting the show very soon.
