Sampurna Lahiri to star in Animesh Bose's crime thriller

Ahead of Bangla Medium, actress Sampurna Lahiri bagged yet another new project. The charming actress will be seen playing a meaty role in Animesh Bose's film 'Tritiya'. In the film, Sampurna Lahiri will play the role of Nandini.

Animesh Bose' crime thriller Tritiya has an ensemble cast. Apart from Sampurna Lahiri, the film also stars Joy Sengupta, Rajatava Dutta, Sudipta Chakraborty, and Bodhisatva Datta in pivotal roles. Actor Joy Sengupta will play the role of Sandipan, who works in an Advertising agency and Sudipta Chakraborty will be seen in the role of Sandipan's better half Sharmila. On the other side, Rajatava Dutta will be seen as a police officer in the film. Interestingly, Rajatava Dutta will also be seen as a cop in Soumik Chattopadhyaya's web series Inspector Nalinikanta. However, after playing several negative roles on screen, the versatile actor will finally be seen in a positive role after a long time. 

Speaking about the film, the story revolves around a married couple Sandipan and Sharmila. Their lives take a sudden turn when Sandipan falls into an extramarital affair with his colleague. As a result, their relationship becomes bitter day by day which culminates in a mysterious murder. The story of 'Tritiya' continues with solving the mystery of that murder where we can see Rajatava Dutta as the investigating officer.

Actress Sampurna Lahiri also stars in the new daily soap Bangla Medium, where her co-stars are Neel Bhattacharya and Tiyasha Lepcha. After a long time, the beautiful actress will be seen on TV screen through the new daily soap. She also became a producer with Mimi Chakraborty Starrer film Mini, directed by Mainak Bhaumik.
