Lalkuthi serial to end its journey soon

On one hand, the Bengali entertainment channels are bringing several new shows and on the other hand, the authorities are stopping many ongoing series. And this time, Rooqma Ray and Rahul Banerjee-starrer thriller series Lalkuthi is about to end its journey soon. The show premiered in May 2022 and after just six months, the makers have decided to end the show.

The on-screen duo of Rahul Banerjee and Rooqma Ray was made in their previous show Desher Maati where they played Raja and Mampi. After concluded the show on TV, Raja, and Mampi Jodi became one of the most popular on-screen jodis among the audience and there were demands to bring them back on-screen. Another entertainment channel, Zee Bangla brought back the duo of Rahul and Rooqma on screen with their thriller series Lalkuthi. But this time their chemistry failed to make an impression on the TRP charts. As a result, the makers decided to end the show.

Lalkuthi team already wrapped up the shoot for the show. Although the show failed to make a mark on the TRP charts, it has been appreciated by fans and the industry. Apart from Saas-Bahu drama, the channel brought some unique story to the audience. 

Meanwhile, the same channel has announced the telecast time for their two brand-new series titled Neem Phuler Modhu and Sohag Jol.
