Popular Show 'Madhabilata' to end its journey soon

Bengali Television is bringing a number of new shows, and at the same time many ongoing shows are ending their journey earlier than expected. Although this is not new to the television industry. But this time another popular show of Star Jalsha Madhabilata will end its journey on TV in just four months. Yes, you read that right. Sushmit Mukherjee and Shrabani Bhunia starrer show Madhabilata which premiered in August will end its journey soon on Television. 

This was quite expected as the show has performed well in the last few weeks and the show has given the channel a good number of TRPs. However, the makers have decided to quit the show. Actor Sushmit Mukherjee who plays the male lead in the show has confirmed the news. And when the actor was asked about the reason behind the discontinuation of the serial he replied, 'you ask the channel and the producers they can give a better answer on this matter'.

30th November is the last day of shooting for Madhabilata and the last episode will be telecast on 4th December 2022. Susmite Dey and Rajdeep Gupta starrer show Panchomi will be telecast instead of Madhabilata. Apart from Shrabani Bhunia and Sushmit Mukherjee the show also features a number of popular stars like Kushal Chakraborty, Kanchanaa Moitra, and Mousumi Saha among others.

The same channel is also going to launch a brand-new show titled Bangla Medium starring Tiyasha Lepcha, Neel Bhattacharya, and Sampurna Lahiri in the lead roles.
