Actress Ankita Majumder joins the cast of 'Ranga Bou'

Actress Ankita Majumder, who made a comeback on TV after two years with 'Gouri Elo', has bagged yet a new show. She recently joined the cast of 'Ranga Bou', starring Shruti Das and Gourab Roy Choudhary in lead roles. The actress has already started shooting for the upcoming episodes of the show where she will be seen as Gourab Roy Choudhary's reel sister.

The versatile actress, who played a meaty role in her previous show, will bring some new twists and turns by playing a negative role in 'Ranga Bou'. Ankita Majumder has been cast in the role of Kumkum. We have already seen in the show that Kush (Gourab) belongs to a 'Bonedi' family. His sister Kumkum also grew up in such an environment. So Kumkum will accept Pakhi (Shruti) as her brother's wife? The upcoming episodes of the serial will answer these questions. If sources are to be believed, Kush's sister Kumkum aka Ankita Majumder will be seen from next Monday.

Speaking about Ankita Majumder, she has been a part of several popular shows like 'Megher Palok', 'Joroar Jhumko', Bhoomi Kanya’ and 'E Amar Guru Darkshina' including Gouri Elo. Ankita Majumder made a comeback after two years with Zee Bangla's show 'Gauri Elo'. The actress got married in 2019, and she has a baby girl now. Due to the pandemic, the new mommy decided to stay away from work. Apart from television shows, she also acted in Bengali films like Auto No. 9696, Char Diker Galpo, Kolkatay Kohinoor etc.
