The renowned filmmaker and actor Kaushik Ganguly has teamed up with young actors like Ditipriya Roy and Arjun Chakrabarty for a new thriller web series that will be streaming on a leading Bengali OTT platform. The well-known actor and filmmaker Sourav Chakraborty is coming up with a political drama series titled 'Raajneeti' where Kaushik Ganguly, Ditipriya Roy, and Arjun Chakrabarty will be seen playing the lead roles.

This time, Sourav Chakraborty has joined hands with the makers of one of the leading OTT platforms called Hoichoi to stream his new political drama series 'Raajneeti'. In the series, Ditipriya Roy will be seen playing the centric character named Rashi and Kaushik Ganguly will be seen as Rashi's father. With this series, viewers will once again witness the on-screen chemistry of Ditipriya Roy and Arjun Chakraborty. Ditipriya was earlier seen opposite Arjun in Subhrajit Mitra's movie Avijatrik. Apart from these three, Raajneeti' web series will also have Koneenica Banerjee in a key role. Koneenica will be seen playing Ditipriya's reel mother. 

Talking about the story of the series, it revolves around Rashi (Ditipriya) who meets with an accident and falls into a coma and loses her memory. Who she is, where she came from, and why she is in this situation all get erased from her memory. But when she returns to normal life, she discovers some drastic truths. As Rashi recovers, she finds some political stuff in her own family and familiar people become strangers to her. What happens next is the crux of the series.

The director has already completed the shooting for the series. Although the release date of the web series is yet to be announced.
