Mimi Chakraborty shares the poster of her first Hindi film 'Shastry Virudh Shastry'

It was already known that Mimi Chakraborty is doing a Hindi movie which is a remake of 2017 Bengali film Posto, directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee. Today, one of the lead actors of ''Shastry Virudh Shastry'', Mimi Chakraborty shared the first poster of the family drama which also stars Paresh Rawal, Neena Kulkarni, Manoj Joshi, and Shiv Pandit in key roles.

Mimi Chakraborty took to social media to share the poster of her debut Hindi film 'Shastry Virudh Shastry', directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, who also directed the original version of the film, Posto. Taking to social media, Mimi Chakraborty shared the poster and confirmed that the film will hit cinemas in 2023 though she did not mention any date in the caption.

''Shastry Virudh Shastry'' is a joint venture of Windows Production and Viacom 18 Studios. Posto, the original version of Shastry Virudh Shastry, starred late actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Lily Chakraborty, Jisshu U Sengupta, and Mimi Chakraborty in lead roles. It's a story of a young boy who gets involved in a legal battle between his parents and grandparents.

Mimi Chakraborty is also busy shooting her upcoming action thriller Raktabeej, co-starring Abir Chatterjee, Victor Banerjee, Anashua Majumdar, and Debasish Mondal in lead roles. Directed by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, Raktabeej is scheduled to release on the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja, this year.
