Popular Bengali actress Rooqma Ray, who was last seen in ZEE5's thriller series Raktakorobi, will be seen playing the female lead in 'Roopsagore Moner Manush' which will air on Sun Bangla soon. Rooqma Ray is one of those talented actors who are known for their powerpack performances on screen. Be it negative or positive, Rooqma has always won the hearts of the audience as well as the makers.
And now Rooqma Ray will play the centric character in Sun Bangla's new show 'Roopsagore Moner Manush', produced by SVF. Rooqma Ray will be seen in a completely different role this time. In the show, Rooqma will be seen playing the role of Purna, a dutiful girl who lives in a police quarter with her small family and who follows her parents' ideals, and fulfilling parents' dreams is the only goal in her life.

The female-centric drama will have a fresh face as the male lead opposite Rooqma. Interestingly, senior artist Anjana Basu, who had to take a break from the limelight for her health condition will make a comeback with this show.
