Soumitrisha Kundu to wrap up shooting for 'Mithai' as the show is nearing its end

Soumitrisha Kundu and Adrit Roy-starrer popular show Mithai is coming to an end soon. It was initially known that the shooting of the serial will be done by the middle of June. But the latest reports suggest that the show will end its journey on TV sooner than expected. The lead actress of the show, Soumitrisha Kundu shared some major updates about the serial on her social media handles.

It's been already known that actress Soumitrisha Kundu, who plays the titular role in Mithai serial, took a break from the shooting of her show due to health issues. And today, Soumitrisha Kundu took to social media to share the news about her rejoining the sets of Mithai and the last date of shooting for the show.

As per the recent Instagram post of Soumitrisha Kundu, the 'Mithai' team will wrap up shooting for the show on May 31. Soumitrisha also revealed in her post that she will be shooting for two more days. Soumitrisha Kundu will don her 'Mithai' avatar for the last time for the show on May 30 and 31.

Mithai' has been ruling the television screen for the last two years. The popular show, starring Soumitrisha Kundu and Adrit Roy in lead roles premiered on 4th January 2021 and now the makers have decided to quit the show. The show has set a record of being the consecutive Bengal topper. At one time, no other show could even come close to this show on the TRP charts.
