TV Show 'Meghe Dhaka Tara' to Conclude its Journey

From the last few months, we have seen several newly launched shows getting shut down due to insufficient numbers of TRP ratings. Shows like Balijhor, Bouma Ekghor, and Lalkuthi ended their journey sooner than expected. And now, Pritha Chatterjee starrer show 'Meghe Dhaka Tara', has been added to the list. Going by the latest report, 'Meghe Dhaka Tara' is about to end its journey as a brand-new drama series replaces the show.

'Meghe Dhaka Tara' premiered in March last year. Actress Pritha Chatterjee, who has been a part of several shows like Bokul Kotha, Sokhi, Subarnalata and Durga, bagged the lead role in the show on Sun Bangla.

Apart from Pritha Chatterjee, the show also stars Aditya Bakshi, Krittika Chakraborty, Nabanita Mukherjee, Poonam Basak, Poulomi Das, and Arijita Mukhopadhyay in pivotal roles.

'Meghe Dhaka Tara' is a women-centric show that follows Brinda, a self-dependent woman who dedicated her life to her family. Brinda works hard to meet the needs of everyone in the family and to make everyone happy. But her selfless act and behavior does not always get appreciated.

If sources are to be believed, 'Meghe Dhaka Tara' team will wrap up the shoot this month. June 24 is the last day of shooting for 'Meghe Dhaka Tara' and the last episode of the show will be telecast on 2nd July on the screen of Sun Bangla.

The brand-new show Roopsagore Moner Manush, starring Rooqma Roy in the lead role, will replace 'Meghe Dhaka Tara' serial.
