Actor Honey Bafna bags a new show

Actor Honey Bafna, who has been a part of several popular shows like Bokul Kotha, Prothoma Kadambini, and Gramer Rani Binapani has bagged a new show. The popular actor, who was last seen opposite Sweta Bhattacharya in Sohag Jol serial will soon be seen in a new drama series which is likely to be aired on Sun Bangla.

Going by the latest report, Sun Bangla's upcoming drama series will feature Honey Bafna as the male lead of the show, co-starring Tumpa Ghosh as his love interest. Yes, if sources are to be believed, actress Tumpa Ghosh, who was last seen in 'Tin Shaktir Aadhar-Trishul', will be seen playing the female lead opposite Honey Bafna in the show.

Well, both Honey Bafna and Tumpa Ghosh are popular faces to Bengali audiences. Honey Bafna stepped into showbiz with Tumi Ashbe Bole in which his co-stars were Sandipta Sen, Rahul Banerjee, and Rupanjana Mitra among others. After that, he played an episodic role in Goyenda Ginni. And later, he played the lead roles in several television series like Bokul Kotha, Prothoma Kadambini, and Gramer Rani Binapani. He also made his debut on the OTT platform with Hoichoi's series Bodhon, starring Sandipta Sen and Ditipriya Roy in lead roles.

On the other hand, Tumpa Ghosh is also a well-known face to Bengali serial loves. Tumpa Ghosh made her television debut with Gourab Roy Choudhary in Bidhir Bidhan. Later, she bagged double role in Zee Bangla's show Raage Anuraage. Apart from all these shows, she acted in various popular shows like Bedeni Moluar Kotha, Agnijal, Nishir Daak, Rangiye Diye Jao, etc.
