Projapoti actress Sweta Bhattacharya bags a web series

Actress Sweta Bhattacharya, who made her big screen debut with Dev in Avijit Sen's family drama Projapoti, is all set to make her debut on the OTT platform. The popular tv actress, who was recently seen in 'Sohag Jol' serial, will soon be seen in a new web series, directed by Mir Falaq.

Debutant director Mir Falaq is coming up with a women-centric drama series 'Nandini', where Sweta Bhattacharya will be seen playing a key role alongside Ritabhari Chakraborty. Yes, Ritabhari Chakraborty whose last release 'Fatafati', hit the headlines in popular magazines and newspapers, is also going to make her debut on the OTT platform with this series, produced by Surinder Films.

Speaking about the series, it revolves around Snigdha, a pregnant woman, played by Ritabhari. In this series, Snigdha's mother-in-law tells her that there is a complication in her pregnancy so she should have an abortion. But the night before she was about to have an abortion, Snigdha receive a phone call that changes her life forever. The caller tells Snigdha that there is no complication in her pregnancy and, she & her baby are absolutely fine.  Actually, a baby girl is growing in her womb, so her family members are trying to abort her. But is it true or there is some other conspiracy behind it, the answer to this question will be found in this series.

Apart from Ritabhari Chakraborty and Sweta Bhattacharya, the series also stars Kinjal Nanda, Debjani Chattopadhyay, Alivia Sarkar, and Suhotra Mukhopadhyay in pivotal roles.

Sweta Bhattacharya was last seen opposite Honey Bafna in Zee Bangla's show Sohag Jol. There is also a rumor that Sweta has bagged another big project, produced by Camellia Productions Pvt. Ltd. She has been a part of several shows like @Bhalobasha.com, Tumi Robe Nirobe, Jorowar Jhumko, Konok Kakon, Sindoorkhela,'Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki' and Jamuna Dhaki, etc.
