Mithai Fame Anumegha Kahali to play Mini in Mithun Chakrabory's Kabuliwala

It is already known that Mithun Chakraborty will be seen playing the iconic character of Kabuliwala in Suman Ghosh's film. Since the announcement of the film, it has created a buzz among the audience as Mithun Chakraborty will be seen in this revered role of Kabuliwala, created by none other than Rabindranath Tagore. 

As the days passed, the makers of the show remained tight-lipped, keeping the audience in suspense as fans were eager to know who will be seen playing the role of Mini opposite Mithun Chakraborty in the film. However, the good news has come.

Child artist Anumegha Kahali, who played Mishti Modak in Soumitrisha Kundu and Adrit Roy's show Mithai, has been roped in by the makers of Kabuliwala to play the role of Mini opposite Mithun Chakraborty in the film. Sounds interesting right? It's true. The popular child actress from Bengali TV Industry, Anumegha Kahali will be seen playing Mini opposite Mithun Chakraborty in Suman Ghosh's film Kabuliwala. The actress has already started shooting for the film with her co-stars.

Meanwhile, the makers of Kabuliwala revealed the first look of Mithun Chakraborty as Kabuliwala a few days ago which has been appreciated by both the audience and critics. It is also known that Sohini Sarkar and Abir Chatterjee will be seen as Mini's parents here.

Speaking about the film, director Suman Ghosh said, ''Kabuliwala is a story of friendship to me. There is a message of humanity in the friendship form between Rahmat and Mini that transcends religion, caste, and language. This story needs to be reminded again in the current situation of the world''.

Anumegha Kahali's work front

Anumegha Kahali is one of the much-loved child artists among the Bengali audience. Apart from Mithai, she also acted in Zee Bangla's show Boddhisatwer Bodhbuddhi. She was also featured in various reality shows like Sourav Ganguly hosted show 'Dadagiri Unlimited' and Rachna Banerjee hosted show 'Didi No. 1'.
