Actress Anushka Goswami, who became household for playing the role of Boni in Gaatchora, has got a new show. The Gaatchora actress is rumored to be seen in Leena Gangopadhyay's upcoming TV serial, starring Sean Banerjee in the male lead.
Earlier, we reported that Sean Banerjee will play the lead in Leena Gangopadhyay's upcoming TV serial that will be aired on a leading general entertainment channel. And now it has been revealed that Gaatchora fame Anushka Goswami will also play a pivotal role alongside Sean Banerjee in the show. If sources are to be believed, Anushka Goswami will be seen playing the second female lead opposite Sean Banerjee in the upcoming TV serial, written by Leena Gangopadhyay.
It is also known that Leena Gangopadhyay's new TV serial, starring Sean Banerjee in the lead role, will be telecast on Star Jalsha. However, there is no official announcement from the makers or channel authorities yet.
Talking about his new show, Sean Banerjee said ''I have been approached by the makers for a new TV serial. However, the agreement has not been signed yet. I wanted to work with Leena (Gangopadhyay) Di for a long time, and finally when the opportunity came... I am very happy. Most importantly, I have never been seen like this on television. Audiences have always seen me as an angry young man, be it Ujan or Rishi Sen! And now I am going to break that barrier''.

Speaking about Anushka Goswami, she stepped into showbiz by playing a prominent role in Aakash Aath's Deepabolir Saatkahon. Anushka later bagged the key role of Banhisikha "Boni" Bhattacharya Singha Roy opposite Riaz Laskar in Gaatchora. And now, Anushka Goswami will be seen playing a key role in Leena Gangopadhyay's new show.
