Actress Rayati Bhattacharya plays Maa Bhabatarini in Star Jalsha's show Bhaktir Sagar

Actress Rayati Bhattacharya, who has been a part of several Bengali movies, TV shows, and web series has bagged a key role in the new show Bhaktir Sagar on Star Jalsha. The acclaimed actress essays the role of Maa Bhabatarini in the newly launched show Bhaktir Sagar, starring Riju Biswas in the lead role.

Initially, it was speculated that actress Payal De, who played the role of Maa Bhabatarini in Ramprasad, will reprise the role in the newly launched Bhakti Sagar.  But now it is revealed that Rayati Bhattacharya has been roped in by the makers of Bhaktir Sagar to play the role of Maa Bhabatarini in the devotional show. Yes, Rayati will now be seen playing the role of Maa Bhabatarini in the show Bhaktir Sagar.

The story of Bhaktir Sagar will depict the life of Ramakrishna Paramahansa which has started by showing Ramakrishna's childhood days. While Riju Biswas plays Ramakrishna's father Khudiram Chattopadhyay, Rayati Bhattacharya essays the role of Maa Bhabatarini. On the other hand, model-turned-actor Tanmoy Acharya plays the role of Narayan in the show Bhaktir Sagar.

However, it is not yet known which actor from the industry will be seen playing the lead role of Ramakrishna Paramahansa in the show.

Speaking about Rayati Bhattacharya, she is a well-known face in the industry. Bhattacharya acted in several television dramas and movies. From TV shows like Shree Krishna Bhakto Meera, Dhrubatara, and Khelna Bari to movies and web series like Shesh Pata, The Diary of a Psychopath, and Dugdugi, Rayati has been praised by the makers and critics for her performances.
