Debchandrima pairing up with Gaurav Chakrabarty in a romantic series titled Parineeta

Here is a piece of good news for all the fans of Debchandrima Singha Roy. The TV stars will soon be seen in a romantic web series that stars Gaurav Chakrabarty as the male lead. Audiences will get to see a fresh pairing of Debchandrima Singha Roy and Gaurav Chakrabarty on screen as Hoichoi's brand new series Parineeta stars Debchandrima and Gaurav in lead roles.

Hoichoi, the leading OTT platform in the Bengali belt, has announced 14 new original web series for subscribers on the occasion of Poila Baishakh. And Parineeta is one of them. Director Aditi Roy, who directed various web series like Bodhon, Noshtoneer, and Lojja, has also directed Parineeta, starring Debchandrima Singha Roy and Gaurav Chakrabarty as lead pair. Well, Parineeta is the first project where Debchandrima plays Gaurav's love interest.

Announcing the show, Hoichoi also shared the first look of Gaurav and Debchandrima from the series Parineeta. Where Debchandrima will be seen playing the female lead Lalita, Gaurav will be seen playing the male lead Shekharnath aka Shekhar opposite her. 

However, the rest of the cast or the release date of the series is yet to be revealed by the makers.

Debchandrima Singha Roy is also starring in Sauvik Kundu's upcoming sci-fi comedy-drama film Boomerang. Starring Jeet and Rukmini Maitra in lead roles, Boomerang also stars Saurav Das, Rajatava Dutta, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Ambarish Bhattacharya in pivotal roles apart from Debchandrima.
