Popular entertainment Channel Star Jalsha is all set to air their brand new series Ekka Dokka where Saptarshi Maulik and Sonamoni Saha will be seen as the lead pair. Just a few days ago the channel has released the first promo for Ekka Dokka, and today (1st July) the channel officially announced the telecast time of their new daily soap Ekka Dokka.

Star Jalsha serial Ekka Dokka stars on 18th July 2022 and will be broadcast every day at 9 pm. The new series replaces the ongoing show Aay Tobe Sahaochori. Apart from the lead pair Saptarshi Maulik and Sonamoni Saha, Ekka Dokka series also featured Sudip Mukherjee, Anashua Majumdar, Aparajita Ghosh Das, Chandan Sen, and Bhaskar Banerjee among others. Interestingly, Sudip Mukherjee, who earlier shared the screen with Saptarshi Maulik as his reel father, again will be Saptarshi's reel father in the new series Ekka Dokka.  It's a medical romantic drama where Saptarshi Maulik will play the role of Pokhraj Sen, a medical student in his final year and Sonamoni Saha will play the role of Radhika Majumder who is also a medical student in her final year at the same college. There is also a competition between Radhika and Pokhraj who can get the highest marks in exams. But Radhika's family says it is more important to be a good doctor than to get the highest marks in exams.
