TV show Aay Tobe Sohochori to end its journey

As Bengali entertainment channels are coming up with new shows, many ongoing shows are also closing down. After Bouma Ekghor and Mon Phagun another popular show of Star Jalsha Aay Tobe Sohochori is coming to an end soon. The show premiered on 13th September 2021 and the serial will end its journey in the second week of September 2022. Aay Tobe Sohochori serial will end its journey on TV after one year. The news spread over the industry since the lead actress of the serial, Koneenica Banerjee was hospitalized for her surgery. Then it was just a rumor but now it is confirmed that the show will end its journey on television soon.

In a recent interview, Koneenica Banerjee said, I am still not fully recovered. I have heard that. But the production house did not feel the need to contact me about it. But the channel contacted me. I said if you say, then I can go and shoot even in this situation.

I feel so bad. I have been associated with this serial for the past one year and have received rave reviews from the audience. It started with a different story. There is comedy in the story, there is romance - everything was going well. Very unfortunate that it is closing suddenly. We had a great team, I will miss everyone, said Indranil Chatterjee.

Aay Tobe Sahochori features Koneenica Banerjee, Arunima Haldar, Indrajit Chakraborty, and Indranil Chatterjee in the lead roles. Actress Arunima Haldar made her television debut with this series where her co-stars are already familiar to the Bengali audience. Indranil Chatterjee became household for his role in Ke Apon Ke Por and once again he has been seen in a lead role in Aay Tobe Sohochori opposite Arunima Haldar. 

The story revolves around Sohochori (Koneenica) and Borfi (Arunima). It's a story of friendship between two persons with vast difference in ages. It highlights the fulfillment of the dreams of a mid-aged woman to study and become a gold medalist, by overcoming all barriers of family and society.
