Actress Shweta Bhattacharya to comeback on the TV screen

Actress Shweta Bhattacharya who played the lead role in Jamuna Dhaki has got a new project. After Jamuna Dhaki concluded its journey on TV, fans were waiting to see her act on the small screen again. And finally, their wishes are being fulfilled.

As per that recent buzz, Shweta Bhattacharya will soon be seen in a new daily soap. She will be playing the female lead in Sushanta Das' upcoming romantic drama which may air on Zee Bangla. However, who will be seen in the male lead opposite Shweta Bhattacharya in the show is yet to be finalised. The serial is expected to start working after this Puja season.

Shweta Bhattacharya is also going to make her Big screen debut with superstar Dev in Avijit Sen's film Projapati. In the film, Shweta will share the screen with eminent stars like Mithun Chakraborty and Mamata Shankar. The actress has also completed the shooting of the film. 

Shweta Bhattacharya made her television debut with Sindoorkhela where her co-stars were Gargi Roychowdhury, Rohit Samanta, and Samrat Bhattacharjee among others. Later Shweta Bhattacharya was seen in many television series like @Bhalobasha.com, Tumi Robe Nirobe, Jorowar Jhumko, Konok Kakon, etc. Shweta became a familiar face to the Bengali audience by playing various roles on TV. Apart from Bengali tv-series Shweta Bhattacharya was also seen on National Television. Shweta played the female lead in Hindi Tv-series 'Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki' opposite Vishal Vashishtha.
