Abir Chatterjee and Tanusree Chakraborty to pair up in Arjunn Dutta's film

Actor Abir Chatterjee is on a roll these days as he has some interesting projects in his kitty including Raktabeej and Fatafati. Amid to these, the actor has bagged yet a new film where he will be seen opposite Tanusree Chakraborty. Directed by Arjunn Dutta, the upcoming relationship drama film will have Abir Chatterjee and Tanusree Chakraborty in the lead roles. 

Prior to this, Arindam Bhattacharya's film 'Flat No. 609' witnessed Abir Chatterjee and Tanusree Chakraborty's effortless performances that left the audience spellbound, and yet again they will be seen together. Arjunn Dutta's next film 'Deep Fridge' stars Abir Chatterjee and Tanusree Chakraborty as lead pair. Apart from Abir and Tanusree, the film will have some talented artists from the industry. Artists like Debjani Chatterjee, Anuradha Mukherjee, Shoaib Kabeer, and Lakshya Bhattacharya will be seen playing pivotal roles in the film.

Speaking about the story it revolves around a divorced couple who also have a child. While Abir will play the role of Swarnava, Tanusree will play Mili opposite him. After the divorce, will Swarnava and Mili be able to see things with more clarity in an effort to build a guilt-free future for both of them separately that is fair to their only child Tatai? This question will be answered in Arjunn Dutta's upcoming film 'Deep Fridge'.

The director told in an interview that he has always been a keen observer and has been intrigued by interpersonal dynamics.

''Divorce has become a common aspect of today's society than ever before yet we refuse to talk about it. I've seen couples around me who are not happy in their marriages and in the course of time, they got divorced. But one thing has always absorbed me, does the essence of the old connection wane away completely or it lasts somewhere deep inside the heart forever. So 'Deep Fridge' chronicles the journey of such a couple with a child post their divorce'' said the director of 'Deep Fridge'.

The story is written by Arjunn Dutta, the screenplay has been penned by Arjunn Dutta himself along with Ashirbad Maitra. Soumya Rit Nag will handle the music department of the film.
