The actress, whose new web show Jaatiswar is set to premiere this month, recently underwent surgery to remove her appendix (Appendicectomy).
In a conversation with Anandabazar Patrika, the Jaatiswar actress said, 'I was suffering from severe pain for the last few days while shooting for a movie.'' After seeing a doctor, she was diagnosed with appendicitis.
Recently, the actress has been hospitalized and the surgery was done on last Sunday. Madhumita said, ''the infection in the blood was increased. However, with God's blessings, I am fine now''.

According to the doctor's advice, the actress will have to stay in the hospital for the next few days. After returning home, the actress will rest for a few more days and then will return to her work life.
